RecipiTerms of Use

These terms apply to the Recipi mobile app and the recipi.us website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. Questions: hello@recipi.us.
1. Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google and are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You can delete your account anytime in the app under Profile → Delete Account.
2. What Recipi does
Recipi helps you save recipes from links you share or paste, turns them into structured recipes, and lets you organize, plan and cook from them. Recipes are generated automatically and may contain mistakes — always check ingredients, quantities, cooking times and temperatures, and use your own judgment in the kitchen.
3. Nutrition information
Calories and macros are estimates calculated from the recipe’s ingredients. They are provided for general information only and are not medical, dietary or allergy advice. If you have allergies or health conditions, check every ingredient yourself and consult a professional.
4. Content you import
You may only import content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Recipes you save stay credited to their original source, and Recipi keeps a link back to it. Don’t use the Service to copy, republish or sell other people’s content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that infringe others’ rights. Rights holders can contact us at hello@recipi.us.
5. Subscriptions, trials and billing
- Recipi offers a free tier with a limited number of imports and an optional paid subscription, Recipi Pro, billed weekly, monthly or yearly through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Free trials. If a plan includes a free trial, you won’t be charged until the trial ends. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you’ll be charged the price shown at purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Prices may change; we’ll give notice as required by the app store before a change applies to you.
6. Fair use
Recipi Pro includes unlimited recipe imports for normal personal use. To keep the Service fast and fair for everyone, imports are subject to a fair-use limit of 300 imports per calendar month per account, which resets on the 1st. We may also limit or suspend automated, scripted or bulk use, reselling of the Service, or activity that places an unreasonable load on it.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no attempting to break or bypass security or limits, reverse engineering except where the law allows it, scraping the Service, or using it for anything unlawful.
8. Our intellectual property
The Recipi app, website, name and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app under these terms. Your own notes and edits remain yours.
9. Waitlist
Joining the waitlist means we’ll email you when Recipi launches. You can unsubscribe with one click in any email. Joining doesn’t guarantee access to any feature or price.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the Service and these terms. If changes are material we’ll let you know in the app or by email; continuing to use the Service means you accept them. You can stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be waived.
12. Apple-specific terms
If you downloaded Recipi from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, is not responsible for claims relating to the app, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
